KROSS

BEHOLD! My first colored artwork in.... Well, a VERY long time LOL

I had come across an old meme wherein it had you make your character into a superhero and it sparked the idea of "What if Kitty were an ORIGINAL superheroine?"

Said idea brewed and brought about the creation of this - Kitty's alternate persona and heroine of justice: KROSS. The idea is that her transforming power comes from the cross necklace she normally wears.

Rough estimation of the creation period: 30 minute sketch, 3 hour inking in Photoshop, 6 hour coloring in Photoshop.
This will be part of a whole other completed piece later, but I'm rather proud of it and felt I should show it off now.

EDIT - After rethinking it, I decided that the original concept for her design needed to be changed. I always saw Kitty as more of a brawler; Having some training in martial arts and normally fighting with her fists than a weapon. So, though the "crucifaxe" idea was kinda cool, I decided that she'd be donning gauntlets instead since it just made more sense to me.
